According to a Acuity Market Intelligence report, facial recognition revenues will exceed $1 billion by 2020...

"Revenues are projected to exceed $753 million annually by 2018 on track to reach $1 billion annually by 2020. This represents a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 19.5% over the forecast period. Total revenue dips slightly in 2015 then recovers and accelerates increasing 2.6 times from 2015 to 2018."
