Police officer goes into a rage over a motorist who refused to let him search car.
Apparently, this officer doesn't appreciate the fourth amendment.
A dashboard camera and microphone in the cop's patrol car captured a sudden profane tirade during a traffic stop after the driver tells the officer he can't search his car without a warrant.
The officer seems friendly enough when he first pulls over the white SUV. He begins by saying he isn't going to give the man behind the wheel a ticket.
But his mood changes dramatically when the driver tells the cop he can't rummage through the truck.
A video of the encounter posted on YouTube has become a viral Internet sensation, with more than 200,000 views since it was posted last week.
However, the clip offers few details. The name of the officer is unknown, as is the location and time of the traffic stop.
When the officer asks the driver if he can search his vehicle, it's a casual friendly question.
'Before you take off would you mind if I took a look through your car for any narcotics or anything like that?' he says.
'Not without a warrant, man.' the driver responds.
The officer seems taken aback by the reply. He repeats the words 'not without a warrant' several times, drawing in short breaths as if he is trying to control his temper.
Then the cop goes ballistic and embarks on a profanity-laced barrage of screaming at the driver. He flips his middle finger as he gets back into his squad car and tears away from the traffic stop.
