In August I warned everyone how DHS/Police are working with movie theaters to search your handbags and backpacks.
The Regal Entertainment Group – the nation’s largest movie theater chain added a bag and purse check policy as a so-called security measure.
Taking a page from law enforcement's handbook, Regal Entertainment claims it's all for 'our safety'.
"Security issues have become a daily part of our lives in America. Regal Entertainment Group wants our customers and staff to feel comfortable and safe when visiting or working in our theatres. To ensure the safety of our guests and employees, backpacks and bags of any kind are subject to inspection prior to admission. We acknowledge that this procedure can cause some inconvenience and that it is not without flaws, but hope these are minor in comparison to increased safety."
Jim Davis, a public safety expert who served as Homeland Security advisor to Governor John Hickenlooper promised soon EVERYONE will be TSA searched at movie theaters:.
“There is no question in my mind that there are meetings going on as we speak, talking about improving security and associated liability. I think it will take time to happen…By necessity now – from a liability standpoint, movie theaters are going to have to step up.”
Earlier in July, I warned everyone that Police State America had invaded our movie theaters.
AMC Theaters has beeen running a "safety" message that says: "If you happen to see any suspiciously strange characters or bad agendas, report them to our crew."
AMC Theaters is not the only theater to jump on the everyone's a potential terrorist bandwagon. "Studio Movie Grill"(SMG) which is rapidly expanding across the country is doing its part to feed the flames.
"Beefing up security at the nation's 5,000 theaters would be expensive, says the Los Angeles Times. Walk-through metal detectors cost about $5,000. In addition to the price of such devices, security systems require training personnel and paying their wages."
American Police State paranoia is out of control. The signs are there for anyone to see.
When going to a shopping mall or going to a movie, means having to submit to a search, why even pretend there's a Constitution?
The war on terror has even reached hospitals, workplaces and schools. All that's left are supermarkets, gas stations and retail stores!
"Most hospitals now regularly hold active shooter drills."
Law enforcement is using FBI, DHS agents to keep the fear alive. Anyone willing to look past the fear-inducing headlines, can see the war on terror has gone too far.
